Lunch and Learn - High Performance Computing System at UNI
Join us for the next Chemurgy 2.0 Lunch and Learn on January 23, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM (CT), featuring Brandon Schmidt from the University of Northern Iowa giving a talk on "High Performance Computing System at UNI."
This workshop assumes basic computing or programming knowledge, but no prior experience with high-performance computing (HPC) systems. Participants will gain an overview of HPC and learn how it differs from local computing environments. The session will also guide attendees through the steps of accessing and utilizing HPC resources, including account setup, system connection, environment interaction, and job submission. Key topics will include the benefits of HPC, parallel processing, and practical workflows for getting started.
