The Iowa EPSCoR Chemurgy 2.0 project is launching a new initiative to connect undergraduate institutions across the state with innovative biomanufacturing research opportunities. We invite faculty from predominantly undergraduate institutions (PUIs) to submit proposals for summer research projects that align with Chemurgy 2.0 goals, focusing on areas such as protein production, biochemicals, 3D printing, and AI applications. This initiative not only enhances students' academic experiences but also contributes to Iowa's leadership in sustainable biomanufacturing.
Key Details:
- Faculty at qualifying Iowa PUIs can apply to host and mentor undergraduate researchers.
- Funding is available for student stipends, housing, travel, and project supplies.
- Projects will span a 10-week summer research experience in 2025.
