EPSCoR Summer 2025 PUI Projects Webinar

The Iowa EPSCoR Chemurgy 2.0 project is inviting undergraduate students from Primarily Undergraduate Institutions (PUIs) to participate in a paid summer research program for 2025. The initiative aims to strengthen Iowa’s leadership in advanced biomanufacturing and offers students the chance to engage in hands-on research in molecular simulations of protein interactions, polymerization kinetics, organic synthesis for pharmaceuticals, and the development of superabsorbent polymers from renewable sources.

An informational webinar will be held on Friday, June 13th, from 11am to 12pm CST via Zoom. During the session, project mentors and student researchers will introduce the four research projects and answer questions about the program.

Participants will gain skills, mentorship, and the opportunity to contribute to Iowa’s biomanufacturing sector. This program prepares students for advanced studies and careers in bioscience and manufacturing innovation. For more information about these projects, students are encouraged to attend the informative webinar.
